The University of Macau (UM) State Key Laboratory of Quality Research in Chinese Medicine and the International Society for Chinese Medicine jointly held a global forum on SCI-indexed journals in the field of biomedical sciences. The event attracted the editing teams of more than 10 world-renowned biomedical journals, including Journal of Ethnopharmacology, Phytochemistry Reviews, Phytochemical Analysis, International Journal of Molecular Sciences, Molecules, ACS Applied Materials & Interfaces, Phytomedicine, Phytochemical Analysis, BMC, and Chinese Medicine. During the forum, participants had an in-depth discussion on the development trends of biomedical sciences, the quality of papers published in SCI-indexed journals, and ways to increase the journals’ academic influence and share more resources with editors in the area of Chinese medical sciences. The event was sponsored by the Macao Foundation and hosted by the editing team of Chinese Medicine.
