Participants in the University of Macau’s (UM) Service Leaders Scheme organised a series of activities between January and April. The students visited various local institutes, including a children’s centre under Caritas de Macau, Best Buddies Macao Association, Macau Special Olympics, a service centre under the Salvation Army, Oxfam Macau, and Baptist Oi Kwan Social Service (Macau). The students also organised various activities, including painting and sports activities, food delivery services for seniors, and a charity walk, for members of these association. The activities were co-organised by Chao Kuang Piu College, Lui Che Woo College, Moon Chun Memorial College, Shiu Pong College, Stanley Ho East Asia College, and the Students Affairs Office, with the purpose of encouraging students to participate in volunteer activities and give back to society.
