A delegation from the Ministry of Education, led by Vice Minister Du Yubo, recently visited the University of Macau (UM). The delegation was warmly received by UM University Council Chair Lam Kam Seng and Rector Wei Zhao. Rector Zhao told the guests about UM’s educational philosophy and latest developments. Du praised UM’s ‘4-in-1’ model of education and its effort to create a good learning environment on campus. Members of the delegation visited the University Gallery, UM Wu Yee Sun Library, the State Key Laboratory of Analog and Mixed-Signal VLSI, and Chao Kuang Piu College, in the company of Vice Rector (Research) Rui Martins, Faculty of Science and Technology professor U Seng Pan, Chao Kuang Piu College Master Liu Chuan Sheng, and UM Librarian Paul Poon.
