UM students win first prize and scholarship at the 2010 Schneider Electric Energy Efficiency Cup

Lately UM students took part in the 2010 Schneider Electric Energy Efficiency Cup. They defeated formidable contestants from Hong Kong and won the first prize for the design project that aims to address energy shortage with steady and efficient wind power. Liang Junjian (pronunciation in Mandarin), a student of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering of UM, received the Schneider Electric Scholarship 2010 for his outstanding academic performance.
