This conference will be the largest international academic conference on the study of Macao ever held in Macao in recent years, 70 renowned experts and scholars from around the world including the US, Portugal, Italy, Germany, Brazil, Japan, the Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macao will hold in-depth discussion about how to promote the development of Macaology. Latest findings in the field will also be presented. It will surely play a very important role in promoting the development of Macaology as well as the academic development of Macao.
Mr. Lu Shumin, Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China in the Macao SAR, Mr. Liu Xiaohang, Director of the Department of Education and Culture of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in Macao SAR and Mr. Cheong U, Secretary for Social Affairs and Culture will attend the ceremony.
