The University of Macau (UM) will hold the third lecture of its University Lecture Series, titled ‘The 21st Century, Computers, and Pattern Recognition – An Application of Big Data’, on 25 November. Tang Yuanyan, chair professor of UM’s Department of Computer and Information Science, will be the keynote speaker. He will talk about the development of computers, with focus on pattern recognition, an application of big data.

The lecture will be held in Room G062, Anthony Lau Building (E4), starting at 5:00pm.  It will be conducted in Mandarin, with simultaneous interpretation into English. For registration please visit https://isw.umac.mo/evm/register/uls_tang.
