18 University of Macau (UM) students, who are participants in UM’s Service Leader Programme and members of the Postgraduate Association, recently participated in a two-day activity in Hong Kong where they experienced the lives of the underprivileged. The students visited the homeless and some families living in cubicle apartments. They also exchanged ideas with members of volunteer groups from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. The activity aimed to raise awareness about the difficult lives of the underprivileged and motivate students to help those in need.
