Dressing Up the Campus for Christmas

Source: My UM

Christmas is coming! This is the first time UM members celebrate Christmas on the new campus. To create a festive atmosphere, colleagues from the various departments, faculties and residential colleges are dressing up their lobbies and gardens with Christmas trees, poinsettias, Christmas bells, and other decorations. Considering the increased size of the campus, UM bought over 460 pots of poinsettias this year, which is three times more than last year. These poinsettias have been distributed to the various residential colleges and buildings in late November. Unlike the old campus, the new campus has many more entrances, exists and landmark buildings, so UM placed Christmas trees in busy public areas such as the Administration Building, the library, and the University Mall, so that more staff, students and visitors can feel the festive atmosphere.
