Special Education Forum 2014 to be held at UM

The Special Education Forum 2014: Holistic Care for Students with Special Educational Needs will be held on 1 November and 2 November in the University of Macau’s (UM) University Hall and Central Teaching Building. The forum is jointly organised by the Education and Youth Affairs Bureau and UM’s Faculty of Education. More than 20 special education professionals from Hong Kong, mainland China and the United States will attend the forum to discuss the latest trends and developments in the field. 

The forum will include two main sessions, a keynote presentation session and a workshop session. During the keynote presentation session, participants will report the latest trends and developments in their respective regions. The workshop session will consist of 24 workshops for participants to discuss special educational needs from a practical perspective and to propose effective teaching methods.
