Guangdong Governor Zhu Xiaodan and Vice Governor Zhao Yufang visited the University of Macau’s (UM) new campus this afternoon (16 July), in the company of Secretary for Social Affairs and Culture of Macao SAR Cheong U. The delegation was warmly received by UM Rector Wei Zhao, Vice Rector (Student Affairs) Haydn Chen, and Honours College Dean Mok Kai Meng. The guests toured UM’s new campus and met with faculty members and students. UM Rector Wei Zhao told the guests about the milestones in the construction of the new campus, the “4-in-1” model of education, the residential college system, and future development strategies for the university. Zhu praised UM’s educational philosophy and the advanced facilities on the new campus.
