English Debating Team members ranked among top debaters at national debate competition

Two members of the University of Macau (UM) English Debating Team were ranked No. 7 and No. 10 respectively among all the Top Debaters at the “FLTRP Cup” National English Debating Competition 2014 held in Beijing. The “FLTRP Cup” is the largest and most influential English debate competition in China. This year’s competition attracted 107 debating teams from mainland China, Hong Kong and Macao. The event was co-organised by the Central School of China Communist Youth League, All-China Students’ Federation Secretariat, and Beijing Foreign Studies University, and hosted by the Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press, and China Education Television.
