Following the Faculty of Health Sciences (FHS), the Faculty of Science of Technology (FST) has started moving onto the new campus recently.

Secretariat for Social Affairs and Culture Advisor Iao Man Leng, Infrastructure Development Office Assistant Coordinator Chau Vai Man, UM’s University Council Chair Tse Chi Wai, UM Rector Wei Zhao, UM Vice Rector (Research) Rui Martins, UM Vice Rector (Administration) Alex Lai, and UM Interim Vice Rector (Academic Affairs) Fan Xitao on 22 April visited the new campus to congratulate FST on the move.

FST Dean Prof. Philip Chen and Associate Deans Prof. Tam Kam Weng and Prof. Wong Pak Kin showed UM’s top management and guests the various projects developed by FST professors and students. The “UMComm” Router, developed by Prof. Tam Kam Weng’s lab, received the most attention.

FST Dean Prof. Philip Chen said that the spacious and comfortable working environment on the new campus would help faculty members and students achieve better results in research.
