Mr Xu Wei, a PhD student of the University of Macau's (UM) Faculty of Business Administration, received the Young Researcher Award 2013, from the International Institute of Macau, for his research projects entitled “Unlocking the Impact of IRFD Investment in Three-Level Suply Chain”. Mr Xu’s paper was supervised by Prof. Lian Zhaotong.

Established in 2002, the Young Researcher Award aims to promote scientific research in areas of interest to the local community and to reward research projects developed by students and researchers from local higher education institutions.
