The University of Macau (UM) this year raised a record amount of MOP 114,000 for the “Walk for a Million”, an annual activity organised by the Macao Daily News Readers Charity Fund. The number of participants in this activity from UM also hit an all-time high, reaching more than 1,200.

Vice Rector (Student Affairs) Prof. Haydn Chen, Communications Office Director Katrina Cheong, and two student representatives earlier delivered the donations to the Macao Daily News Readers Charity Fund on behalf of all UM staff and students.
