Four students from the University of Macau’s (UM) Honours College (HC), along with more than 70 other volunteers from the City University of Hong Kong, the Central China Normal University, Zhejiang University, Hubei University for Nationalities, and Taiwan Normal University, participated in a one-week “Hoping.Download” volunteer teaching activity in Hubei province, which was organised by the Central China Normal University. Despite the suffocating heat of Wuhan, which is considered one of the “four hot stoves” in China, as well as the language barrier, participants in the activity said they benefited a lot from this special experience and came home with a lot of wonderful memories.
