Class of 2015 students of the Honours College (HC) organised a talent show which attracted a full-house audience .  Different from the previous talent shows, this year’s talent show was presented in the form of a love-themed musical performance. To give the audience a unique experience, the students included magic tricks, singing, dancing and live band performance in the show. All proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the Asilo Vila Madalena in Coloane, an elderly home the class visited in early March.

One of the performers said that it was a very enjoyable process for the whole class to accomplish a show together, despite the fact that they encountered many difficulties in the process ( for instance, there was only one month’s time between deciding the programmes of the show and the actual performance, and the script was rewritten several times).

The HC Talent Show is one of the course requirements of the Honours Programme course “Development of Leadership Skills”. It aims to enhance students’ creativity, teamwork spirit and leadership skills. This year’s talent show was under the supervision of the course instructor Dr. Udani.
