Today (16 June) the University of Macau’s (UM) Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) kicked off the science summer camp 2012. The summer camp attracted nearly three hundred applications from over twenty local secondary schools. This is the fifth consecutive year FST has organized the science summer camp, and as always, had the support from the Science and Technology Development Fund of Macao SAR. FST Dean Prof. Philip Chen hopes that through a series of well-designed workshops, participants can experience the joy of scientific research and discover their scientific potential.
