China Association for Science and Technology Executive Vice Chairman Chen Xi visits UM

The delegation visits the State Key Laboratory for Quality Research in Chinese Medicine at UM

Today (14 November 2011), a delegation from the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST), led by CAST’s Executive Vice Chairman and First Secretary Mr. Chen Xi, visited the University of Macau (UM), and was warmly received by UM Rector Wei Zhao. Chen expressed confidence in UM’s realization of the goal of becoming a world-class institution and pledge full support for UM’s future development.

During the meeting, Rector Wei Zhao updated the guests on the developments and recent achievements of UM, the new “4-in-1” pedagogical model, and the new campus project. Chen noted that the new campus projects shows the recognition and support from the central government and therefore is of historic significance.

After the meeting, the delegation visited the State Key Laboratory for Quality Research in Chinese Medicine at UM.
