UM’s Honours College admits 39 outstanding students this year

The Honours College (HC) of the University of Macau (UM) is dedicated to developing students’ leadership potential and is committed to cultivating future leaders for society. In this academic year, a total of 39 outstanding students from different faculties have been admitted to HC. Yesterday (14 September), HC held an opening ceremony for HC freshmen. Dean of HC Prof. Mok MOK Kai Meng said in his speech that when UM’s new campus on Hengqin is completed, HC will establish its own residential college system, through which a learning and living community will be created to facilitate “whole-person” education and leadership development programme.
